Xiaomi Unveils New Mi4 Smartphone

Xiaomi is the one brand that gained much of the craze in China as "Apple in the USA", today has unvieled Mi4 the new version of it's flagship phone. The company has sold over 26 million phones in the first half of this year and in an anticipation to take the toll to about 60 million by the end of the year has released Mi4 with real good commercial elegance and affordability.

If we just ignore all of the rumors now and coming to the real specs the device is built up with a 2.5GHz quad-core Kriat 400 Snapdragon 801 SoC processor, Qualcomm Adreno 330 and 3GB of RAM. And the phone features a 5inch Full HD High Sensitive Touch Screen with JDI high Color Saturation having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixels at 441 PPI capable of displaying 16M colors. MIUI V6.0 will be the OS that runs the Xiaomi Mi4 which is customized based on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.

The phone will be available in 2 variable internal memory options 16GB and 64GB. Coming to the cameras Mi4 will have a 13MP one on the rear having Sony Exmor RS Stack Image Sensor, 6-piece lens, F/1.8 Aperture, Blue glass Infrared filter, High dynamic and intelligent flash and a 8MP front one featuring Sony Exmor BSI Sensor, 5-piece lens, F/1.8 Aperture.

The phone connects well to networks having bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz(2G), WCDMA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz (3G) and LTE 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz(4G). Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Dual band(2.4 GHz + 5.0 GHz), WiFi hotspot, WiFi Direct, Infrared, NFC, Bluetooth V4.0 with A2DP and MicroUSB V2.0. Having a 3000mAh battery the phone can be expected to give really a long talk time.

Xiaomi Mi4 is primarily built keeping in view the desires of chineese consumers and is priced at CN¥ 1999 or about $320 for the 16GB Mi4, and CN¥ 2499 or about $400 for the 64GB Mi4.
